Brazil: Income Tax Auxiliary Report (DIRPF 2026)

Updated today

Will I receive an Income Statement (Informe de Rendimentos) from ARQ?

ARQ is not legally required to issue an Income Statement, as there is no withholding income tax at source. Instead, we provide an Income Tax Auxiliary Report, designed to assist you in preparing your 2026 DIRPF with relevant information about your transactions and positions.

How do I get my Income tax auxiliary report?

  • If you have a verified email, you will receive it by email by the 1st April.

  • If your email is not verified, or becomes verified after 1st April, please contact support and we can provide you with your Income Tax Auxiliary Report.

What is included in the Auxiliary Report? The report contains relevant information for your tax return across three main sections: virtual assets (stablecoins such as USDC and EURC), your BRL payment account balance, and overseas investments held through Alpaca Securities LLC. It also includes transaction details, dividend information, and taxes paid abroad that should be considered when filing your DIRPF.

How can I access all my stablecoin transactions?

You can view your full transaction history directly in the app. Go to Profile, then tap Account Statement, and select the desired currency to view your transactions.

The investments in the US are in USD. How should I convert USD amounts to BRL in my tax return? For amounts presented in USD, you are responsible for converting them into BRL using the PTAX exchange rate published by the Brazilian Central Bank. We strongly recommend consulting the guidelines and manuals published by the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service (Receita Federal do Brasil – RFB) for detailed instructions on completing the DIRPF and reporting overseas investments.

What about taxes paid abroad on my investments?

Taxes paid abroad may be eligible for offset against Brazilian income tax due. We recommend consulting a tax professional to verify applicability.

How are earnings from the ARQ Conta Remunerada reported?

Earnings from each ARQ Conta Remunerada are reported separately and are not consolidated by CPF. This means each account must be declared individually in your DIRPF — make sure to include all accounts you hold.

Does this Auxiliary Report contain everything I need to report?

No. This report covers your main positions and transactions within the ARQ platform. However, transactions carried out and income received through other institutions — whether abroad or involving virtual assets — may also impact your total income tax due and must be reported separately. We strongly recommend consulting a trusted tax professional to assist you in meeting your tax obligations.
