In the run-up to the World Cup, ARQ is hitting two cities with a pop-up challenge: step up and take three penalty kicks against a famous Brazilian goalkeeper. Score all three and you win USDc 10,000, paid straight into your ARQ account.
Why a goalkeeper? Because converting reais into dollars with a traditional bank can feel as impossible as scoring against a legend. Brazilians lose roughly 5%–10% on every BRL-to-USD/EUR conversion through IOF, spreads, remittance fees and hidden charges. How the challenge works
You get three penalties and three chances. Each shot is harder than the last. To win the USDc 10,000, you need to convert all three — score every one. Miss a single shot and your run ends there.
Who can take part

Make sure you've got at least R$50 in your ARQ account before you arrive. Our team will just ask you to open the app and show your balance before you play
You can take part once only across all four days, including both Brasília and São Paulo.
Getting in line
Entry is first come, first served and depends on queue capacity. We're expecting big crowds, so a few things to keep in mind:
There are no reservations and no virtual queue. Entry is by physical line only.
There's no priority lane, except where required by law.
The queue may close early. If demand is very high, we may have to close the line before the stated end time, even if the activation is still going.
You might be turned away if the queue reaches capacity, for crowd-safety reasons, or if your account doesn't meet the eligibility requirements (for example, if it isn't verified yet).

Common questions
I downloaded ARQ at the event but can't verify my account. Make sure your ID is valid and readable, and that you have good lighting for the selfie, then try again — verification can take a few minutes. If it still doesn't work, speak to the support team on-site and they'll help you out.
I have an account but don't have the R$50 balance. No problem — just make your first conversion inside the app (top up in BRL, then convert to USDc). Once your balance shows up in the app, you'll meet the eligibility requirement.
Can I dispute the rules or the difficulty? The rules and difficulty are fixed in advance and are set out in the activation's Terms & Conditions, so the challenge outcome can't be changed. We know it's tough — that's the point of taking on a legend!
