Does ARQ report my USDc or EURc holdings?

No. USDc and EURc holdings are not included in the reporting obligations of ARQ's Argentine branch registered as a Virtual Asset Service Provider (PSAV).

Which transactions does the Argentine branch report?

ARQ is registered with the Comisión Nacional de Valores (CNV) as a Virtual Asset Service Provider (PSAV, registration N°92). The registered entity is a branch of Pier 5, S.A. de C.V., operating under the name DolarApp México S.A. de C.V. – SSE.

As a PSAV, the Argentine branch complies with the regulatory reporting obligations applicable to the activities it carries out locally. This includes conversions between Argentine pesos (ARS) and digital assets (USDc and EURc), in accordance with applicable regulations.

What about USDc and EURc holdings?

The custody of USDc and EURc, as well as the services associated with those holdings, is provided outside Argentina by affiliated entities. Accordingly, USDc and EURc holdings are not included in the reports submitted by ARQ's registered entities in Argentina.

In accordance with applicable CNV regulations, the Argentine branch may enter into agreements with affiliated entities for the provision of certain services, including the custody of digital assets and certain operational and technology functions. As a result, the custody and administration of USDc and EURc holdings are carried out outside Argentina by the corresponding entities.

What about USDc or EURc transactions that do not involve ARS?

They are also not included in the reports submitted by ARQ's registered entities in Argentina. This includes, for example:

  • USDc received (via ACH or Wire) through your U.S. account details.

  • EURc received (via SEPA) through your European account details (IBAN).

  • Payments made with the Global Card using your USDc or EURc balance.
