Once you have your local investments account open, follow these steps to invest in fixed income securities.
How to invest
Open the ARQ app and tap Save > Fixed Income.
Choose the security — use the filters (e.g., maturity, risk) and sorting (e.g., minimum investment) to narrow the list.
Enter the amount you want to invest.
Review the transaction and confirm.
Once confirmed, an investment order cannot be cancelled. Review the conditions carefully before you confirm.
Is there a minimum and maximum amount?
The minimum amount varies by security and is shown on the product screen.
The maximum depends on the available stock, which changes throughout the day as other investors buy each security.
CDB, LCI, LCA, CRI, CRA and debentures are bought in whole units (multiples of 1). Tesouro Direto can be bought in multiples of 0.01.
When can I invest?
Investments are processed on business days, Brasília time:
Bank and corporate securities (CDB, LCI, LCA, LC, LF, CRI, CRA and debentures): 10 am to 3 pm in the primary market, and 10 am to 4:30 pm in the secondary market.
Tesouro Direto: 9:30 am to 6 pm.
When does the money leave my account?
The moment you confirm the order, the amount is blocked in your account: the transaction shows as pending, and that money can't be used for withdrawals or other purchases. You'll find it under Pending trades.
Settlement happens at 6 pm, and when depends on the security:
CDB and other bank-issued securities: settle the same day at 6 pm.
Tesouro Direto: settles the next business day at 6 pm.
At settlement the security enters your portfolio, the amount is debited from your BRL balance, and your earnings start.
What if I don't have enough balance?
You can only invest up to your available balance. If the amount is higher, the app will tell you before you can continue — and it will also flag if the amount is below the security's minimum investment. Because the full amount is blocked at confirmation, a confirmed order can't later fail for insufficient funds.
Where do I find my receipts?
Every investment and every withdrawal generates a receipt, available in the detail of the transaction itself. Tap the transaction in your history to view it and download it as a PDF.
