Starting on 2nd March 2026, we are rolling out ARQ progressively to all our users. In the coming days, you’ll be invited to update your app and experience the new brand. There’s nothing you need to do for now. Just update the app when prompted and keep using it as you always have.

Why is DolarApp changing the name to ARQ? Why now?
We evolved over time beyond a “digital dollar” app, and the name DolarApp no longer represents our full offering. ARQ reflects who we are today: the everyday finance platform for investing, spending, and credit, including international transfers, savings products, investments in US markets (stocks and ETFs), virtual and physical cards, and more.
Why are you changing the entire app interface and colors?
We’ve re-designed the app and web interface, fonts, and colors to make our users' experience even better, in line with world-class design standards.
Did DolarApp get acquired or sold?
No. This is not an acquisition or sale. The company is exactly the same one, and remains independent and backed by the same world-class investors.
Are you still the same company legally?
Yes. The legal entities and regulatory structure remain the same. This is a brand evolution, not a change of ownership or corporate control. We are the same team, same infrastructure, same regulatory framework – with an expanded vision. There are no legal changes to your account and rights.
Is the change to ARQ permanent? Can I choose to revert back to DolarApp?
The change to ARQ is permanent and after updating, you will not be able to revert to DolarApp.
Will ARQ work the same as DolarApp?
Yes, the exact same way but with a new fresh look.

SAFETY AND REGULATION
Is my money still safe with ARQ?
Yes, your money and digital assets in ARQ are as safe as they were in DolarApp. The infrastructure, licenses, and our partners are exactly the same ones as they were in DolarApp. It’s a brand, name and user experience evolution.
Are my funds still held in the same place?
They are held in the exact same place.
Is ARQ regulated the same way as DolarApp? Can ARQ still legally hold my money?
ARQ is indeed the same entity, and therefore regulated in the exact same way as DolarApp.
Do I need to accept new terms and conditions?
No, all your agreements accepted with DolarApp remain the same and in force with ARQ.Your rights as a customer are not changing in any way.
Did the privacy policy change? Is my data still protected the same way?
There was no change to the privacy policy, and your data is still protected the same way.
THE APP AND LOGGING IN
Do I need to do something because of the rebrand?
Yes, you'll need to update the app from the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android). The option to update to ARQ will become available to you in the few days following 2nd March 2026. The app now appears as ARQ (DolarApp), but your account, balances, cards, and all your information will remain exactly the same. We recommend updating as soon as possible.
Do I have to download a new app?
No, you don't need to download a new app. Simply update your existing DolarApp from the App Store or Play Store. The update will transition the app to ARQ automatically.
I don’t see the option to update to ARQ yet. Is there something wrong?
Don’t worry, you will get the opportunity to update your app soon. We are rolling out ARQ progressively to all our users – this happens at a random order over a few days, starting on 2nd March 2026. You may need to wait 2-3 days until the option to update becomes available to you. In the meantime, please feel free to explore our new website, https://www.arqfinance.com/.
Can I get priority access to updating to ARQ sooner?
Unfortunately no. The ability to update is being rolled out to all of our users over the course of a few days, at a completely random order. This is not something which depends on us, but is based on the policy of the App Stores (Google Play, Apple App Store). Therefore, there is no way to get priority access, but don’t worry you should be getting the option to update very soon!
What happens if I don’t update the app?
The old version of the app will stop working in a couple of weeks and there will be an automatic update. To continue using the service without interruption, please update to the latest version as soon as possible once it becomes available to you.
Will my account stop working if I do nothing?
Yes, the old version of the app will stop working in a couple of weeks. However, your balances, cards, and account itself is safe.
Do I need to create a new account?
No. Your existing account carries over to ARQ automatically. There's no need to sign up again.
Will I need to verify my identity again?
No. Your identity verification carries over from DolarApp to ARQ. You won't need to go through the verification process again.
I can’t find ARQ in the App Store, what do I do?
Try searching for "ARQ" in the App Store or Play Store. If you still can't find it, try updating your existing DolarApp, the update should transition the app to ARQ. If the issue persists, please contact our support team for assistance.
I updated the app and it looks different, is this normal?
Yes, this is completely normal. As part of the rebrand from DolarApp to ARQ, the app has a fresh new look. All your account details, balances and cards remain the same, only the design has changed.
What happens if my phone is too old to update the app?
ARQ has the same device requirements as DolarApp, so if your phone was running DolarApp before, it should work with ARQ as well. If you experience any issues, please reach out to our support team via email to help@arqfinance.com
Does ARQ support Android / iOS the same way?
Yes. ARQ is fully supported on both Android and iOS with the same features available on both platforms.
Can I log in with the same email / phone number?
Yes. Your login credentials remain the same. Use the same email or phone number you used with DolarApp to log in to ARQ.
Do I need a new password?
No. Your existing password works in ARQ. No changes needed.
I changed my phone number, will I lose access?
If you changed your phone number after setting up your DolarApp account, you should be able to log in to ARQ with the new phone number. If you experience any issues, please reach out to our support team via email to help@arqfinance.com
I see an error when I try to log in after updating?
Try closing the app completely and reopening it. Make sure you're using the same credentials you used with DolarApp. If the error persists, try deleting completely the app and installing the new ARQ app from scratch. If the issue continues, please contact our support team via email to help@arqfinance.com
My app crashes after updating, what can I do?
Try these steps: close the app completely and reopen it. If it still crashes, restart your phone and try again. If the problem persists, uninstall and reinstall the app from the App Store or Play Store, your account and data will be safe. If none of these steps work, please contact our support team via email to help@arqfinance.com
CARDS
Will my current DolarApp cards still work? Do I need to replace it with a new ARQ card?
Yes. All existing cards will keep working normally until their expiry date.
There is no need to replace your card with a new ARQ card. However, if you do want to get a new ARQ card, you can get one for free. Otherwise, you can keep using the current card.
The card number will not change and all your subscriptions will keep working.
How do I get the new ARQ card?
Once you update your app to ARQ, you can already order new ARQ cards (virtual or physical) by clicking on the “+” button in the cards section in the homescreen.
Is the ARQ card free?
If you already have a DolarApp physical card, your first ARQ physical card is free.
If you never had a physical card before, you can get a free ARQ physical card by having more than 100 USDc balance.
How long does it take for the card to arrive?
Depends on your location but typically cards arrive in 5-10 business days.
Can I have both DolarApp and ARQ cards at the same time?
Yes, both will work.
What happens when I activate the ARQ card? Will activating the ARQ card cancel my old one?
You can start using the ARQ card as normal once you activate it. Old cards are still usable until you delete them or they expire.
Can I use the ARQ card with Apple Pay / Google Pay?
Yes, it works with both platforms.
ACCOUNT DETAILS, ALIASES AND TRANSFERS
Are any of my account details changing? Do I need to update my payroll details or any automatic transfers?
No, all your account details remain the same. There is no need to update anything.
What happens to my CVU alias? Will the old one still work?
Yes, the old one will still work. However, you can adapt it to our new ARQ brand if you want by initiating the alias change directly in app.
What happens to my dolartag?
Nothing, it will be the same for you, it’s just named arqtag now.
Can I choose my new ARQtag?
If you never changed your $dolartag before, you can change your ARQtag now (but remember, only once). If you already used up your one change of the $dolartag, you cannot change the ARQtag.
What happens to pending transfers during the change? Can transfers fail because of the rebrand?
Pending transfers will be processed as normal. Your money is safe. Transfers should not fail because of the rebrand. If you are experiencing any issues, please contact support through the in-app chat.
Will my balance move automatically to ARQ? Will my money disappear during the transition?
Your balance would not even need to move, since ARQ is the same as DolarApp, just a different wrapping. Think of it as changing clothes. As such, your money cannot and will not disappear.
Will I lose my transaction history? Can I still see old DolarApp transactions?
No transaction history will be lost. You will still be able to see all your past transactions and statements as usual.
Why are some transactions missing? What happens to pending transactions?
Pending transactions will be completed as usual. There can be different reasons why a transaction might be missing, for example processing times or pending verifications, but none are related to the rebrand to ARQ. Please reach out to our support team to investigate if you are experiencing any issues.
SAVE AND TRADE
What happens to my trading and savings accounts with ARQ?
There are no changes, your accounts remain the same.
Are my investments safe?
Same as before, your investments are protected by the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC). SIPC safeguards the securities held in your account, such as stocks and ETFs, in the rare event that your brokerage firm fails, but it does not protect against market losses or investment performance fluctuations. Will my holdings and investment statements stay the same?
Yes, there will be no change to your holdings or statements.
Can I still buy or sell during the transition? Can I withdraw my investments as usual?
Yes, you can transact as usual. All you need to do is update the app at some point in the next few days.
Is ARQ using the same investment partner as DolarApp?
Yes, Alpaca for US stocks and ETFs and Manteca for ARS cash accounts.
FEES / TAXES
Are any fees changing because of ARQ? Are there new fees I should know about?
No. There are no changes to the fees of products that existed under DolarApp. New products, such as ARQ Prestige, have their own new pricing.
Are any exchange rates changing?
No. Exchange rates are not changing, and the rebrand has no impact on them.
Will ARQ be more expensive than DolarApp?
No. There are no plans to make current products more expensive as part of the transition to ARQ. Our focus is on continuing to add value through new products, services, and membership options that make the platform more comprehensive and better aligned with our customers’ needs. As ARQ evolves, customers will have access to more features and plans, but the goal is to expand what’s available, not to increase the cost of what already exists.
Will the rebrand change anything related to my tax reporting?
We can't provide any tax advice, but our name and brand change should not affect your tax reports in any way.
