The Financial Trivia is a live game in the ARQ app where you can win shares as a reward. At ARQ, we believe financial freedom starts with knowledge, and The Financial Trivia is our simple way of helping you build that knowledge—and rewarding you for it.
Where can I find it?
The Financial Trivia is available in the ARQ app. You’ll find it in a banner on the home screen, where you can read the game description and view your results from the most recent game.
When a new game is about to begin, you’ll be able to enter the waiting room starting five minutes before the scheduled start time and wait there for the game to begin.
What is The Financial Trivia?
The Financial Trivia is a live trivia game held in the ARQ app on specific dates and at specific times based on market events. It consists of 11 questions about finance and investing. If you answer all 11 questions correctly, you’ll win a stock reward that will be credited directly to your ARQ investment portfolio.
For each question, you’ll have four answer choices—A, B, C, and D—and 10 seconds to respond. If you answer incorrectly, your game is over, and you’ll have to wait until the next game to play again.
What topics do the questions cover?
All questions focus on finance and investing. You can expect questions about:
Basic financial concepts and how markets work
Investment strategies and instruments, including stocks, ETFs, bonds, and more
The world’s largest and most important companies, including their history, business models, and key milestones
Major market events and the history of global financial markets
Corporate news
When is the game played?
The game will be held live on dates and at times announced in advance. The schedule will be the same for all users within each country, meaning that all players in the same country will participate at the same time.
The schedule by country is:
🇧🇷 Brazil — 7:00 p.m. Brasília time
🇦🇷 Argentina — 8:00 p.m. Buenos Aires time
🇨🇴 Colombia — 7:00 p.m. Bogotá time
🇲🇽 Mexico — 7:00 p.m. Mexico City time
The time at which each player can participate will depend on the country of residence registered on their ARQ account.
You must be logged into the app and inside the game at exactly the scheduled time. We recommend opening the app a few minutes early and entering the waiting room. If you arrive even one second late, you’ll miss the round and will have to wait until the next game.
Who can play?
All ARQ users can play. The only requirement is to open an investment account in the Trade section of the app and have at least 100 USDC invested in stocks or ETFs of your choice.
Once you invest and your order has been executed, access to the game will be unlocked automatically. If the value of your portfolio falls below 100 USDC, you’ll need to invest more to bring it back above the minimum required to play.
How do the rewards work?
All winners of The Financial Trivia will be able to claim their stock reward at the end of the game. The shares will be credited directly and instantly to your ARQ investment portfolio.
You’ll find the details of your reward in the Transactions section of the Invest tab in the app.
The reward will have a specified monetary value and will be delivered in the form of shares in a major company listed on the U.S. markets. The selected stock will change with each game and will be announced in advance through the app and on our social media channels.
Currently, the campaign is limited to one reward per user. Users who have already won and received a reward may continue playing The Financial Trivia as often as they like, but they will not receive another reward if they win again.
Can I share my results?
Yes. After each game, you can share your results with friends, challenge them to beat your score, and track how you rank against your friends and players worldwide.
Is there a cost to participate?
No. Participation in The Financial Trivia is free for all eligible ARQ users. The only requirement is to have at least 100 USDC invested. There is no additional fee to play.
What happens if I miss the game?
If you miss the scheduled start time, you will not be able to join the game.
I tried to enter the game, but I couldn’t
If you wanted to participate but were unable to enter, it may have been due to one of the following reasons:
You must have a Trade account and at least 100 USDC invested in stocks or ETFs at the time of the game. Your investment order must have been executed or processed before the game begins.
You must be inside the waiting room—the screen showing the countdown timer—before the game begins. If you enter after the scheduled start time, you will not be able to participate.
