The Financial Trivia is a live, weekly game inside the ARQ app where you can get stocks as rewards for winning the game. At ARQ, we believe financial freedom starts with knowledge, and the Financial Trivia is our friendly way of helping you build it, and reward you for it.
Where to find it:
The Financial Trivia is available inside the ARQ app. You will find it on a banner in the Home screen, where you will be able to read the game description and see your results of the past week. When a new game is about to start, you will be able to enter it within 5 minutes prior to the start time and stay in the waiting room.
What is The Financial Trivia?
The Financial Trivia is a live trivia game hosted every Wednesday inside the ARQ app. It consists of 11 questions on finance and investing. If you answer all 11 correctly, you win $100 USDc worth of the stock of the week, credited directly to your ARQ investment portfolio.
For each question, you will have four answer options (A, B, C, D) and 10 seconds to respond. If you answer incorrectly, the game is over and you will need to wait until the following week to play again.
What topics do the questions cover?
Every question is about the world of finance and investing. You can expect questions on:
Core financial concepts and how markets work
Investing strategies and instruments (stocks, ETFs, bonds, and more)
The world's biggest and most important companies — their history, business models, and key milestones
Major market events and the history of global financial markets
Corporate news
When is the game played?
The game is played live every Wednesday, which means all players in the same country will participate at the same time. The schedule by country is:
🇧🇷 Brazil — 12:00 pm (Brasilia time)
🇦🇷 Argentina — 1:00 pm (Buenos Aires time)
🇨🇴 Colombia — 12:00 pm (Bogotá time)
🇲🇽 Mexico — 12:00 pm (Ciudad de México time)
The schedule at which each user can play will based on the residence country of their account at ARQ.
You must be logged into the app and inside the game at exactly that time (we recommend opening the app a few minutes earlier and entering the Waiting Room). If you are even one second late, you will miss the round and will need to wait until the following week.
Who can play?
All ARQ users can play. The only requirement is to open an investment account in the Trade section of the app and make a minimum investment of $100 USDc in stocks or ETFs of your choice. Once you invest and your order is executed, you will automatically unlock access to play every week.
How do the rewards work?
All winners of The Financial Trivia will be able to claim their stock reward at the end of the game. The stock is credited directly and instantly to your ARQ investment portfolio. You will find the transaction details of your reward in the ‘Transactions’ section of your ‘Trade’ tab on the app.
The reward is always $100 USDc worth of stock from a major company listed on US markets. The selected stock changes every week and will be announced in advance through the app and on our social media channels.
Can I share my results?
Yes. After each game you can share your results with friends, challenge them to beat your score, and track your ranking against friends and against all players globally.
Is there a cost to participate?
No. Participation in The Financial Trivia is free for all eligible ARQ users. The only requisite is to have $100 USDc invested, but there is no additional charge for playing the game.
What happens if I miss the game?
If you miss the start time, you will not be able to join that week's game. The next opportunity to play will be the following Wednesday.
