How to Receive USD with ARQ: ACH and Wire Transfers
At ARQ, we provide you with unique US account details (ACH Account and Routing Number) so you can receive USD via ACH or Wire Transfer. When you receive USD to your account number, you’ll get digital dollars in your ARQ balance.
What is an ACH Transfer?
An ACH Transfer is a payment sent between bank accounts using the Automated Clearing House (ACH) network.
How Long Will My ACH Transfer Take?
ACH transfers typically take 3 to 5 business days to complete.
What Information is Needed for an ACH Transfer?
To make an ACH Transfer, you’ll need the following details:
Name
Routing/ABA Number
Account Number
Account Type
Transaction Amount
You can find these details in the “Receive” tab within the ARQ.
How to Transfer USD to ARQ via ACH
Follow these steps to transfer USD to your ARQ account using ACH:
1. Link Your ARQ Account to Your Bank Account
Add your ARQ Account Number and Routing Number as a payee/beneficiary in your existing bank account.
Some banks will make two small deposits (usually under $1) into your ARQ account. You’ll need to confirm these deposit amounts on your bank’s portal to complete the linking process.
Note: This step is essential and cannot be skipped.
2. Specify Transaction Type
Choose whether the transaction will be an ACH credit or debit from your account.
Currently, ARQ only supports ACH Credits.
3. Enter Payment Amount
Enter the payment amount you want to transfer.
4. Prepare to Complete Payment
Some banks allow you to post-date payments.
Remember that payments can take up to 3 to 6 business days to appear in your balance. Don’t worry if it takes longer; your funds are secure with us.
