Your US account details are changing

Updated this week

If you received an email from us that we are updating your US account information, please read on. If you didn't receive any emails on this topic, you may have a different issue, so please ask to to speak to an advisor.

  • Why do I need a new account? We're upgrading your U.S. account details to make payments more reliable. To keep receiving payments in USDc, you'll need to set up your new account by April 23 and share the new details with anyone sending you money.

  • What exactly is changing? Only your account number, routing number, and bank address are changing. Everything else about your USDc payments stays the same.

  • Why cannot I make withdrawal from my US account? I see an error saying "Withdrawal route not available". As we are updating your US account details, withdrawals with your old US account number are not available. Please set up your new account details first to make withdrawals.

  • Where do I find my new account details? Open the ARQ app, tap "Add", then select "Dollars". If your new account isn't set up yet, accept the T&Cs and wait for approval. Once approved, your new account details will be visible in that same section.

  • What happens to my current account details? Your current details will remain active until April 23. After that date, they will be removed and incoming payments sent there will be returned to sender?

  • Can I still receive money through my current account details? Yes. Incoming payments to your current account number will continue working until April 23. However, you won't be able to transfer money out until your new account information is set up.

  • I received an email saying a payment came in to my old account. What should I do? Check who sent that payment. If you expect more payments from that sender, go to your US account details in the app, copy the new details, and share them with the sender so future payments reach you correctly.

  • What if I shared my account details with others? If you have shared your US account information for ACH or wire payments, please update it with your new details once they are ready.
